Moving In Stereo
I like to introduce to you a new monthly column called Moving In Stereo. The monthly article will include such happenings of the punk, hardcore and metal music industry and will also include other entertainment news. The purpose of this monthly column will be to fill you, the reader, in on some of the happenings that should be worth your time. From concise reviews and mentions of upcoming releases, to news about some other things you’re not quite yet familiar with, aiming to keep you informed yet with enough room to seek other viewpoints. This is for the folks that lack the time to check a dozen entertainment-oriented websites on a daily basis, and instead would like to hear recommendations from a media-obsessed New Yorker: Darren Paltrowitz. To read the premier column of Moving in Stereo, click here.

Coming Back Stronger
Sorry for the visitors of this site for the absence but my computer has been fucking up and it has left me unable to update the site. But now since everything is operational I plan to make this site come back stronger. There will be plenty of updates, news, reviews and a new column. So please stay tuned and sign up for our mailing list. Below is some news. Thanks a lot.
Superheist Brake Up
The night before the Metal For The Brain Festival 2003 located in Canberra, Australia, Local-Australian-talent Superheist broke up to then pull out of the festival. They withdrew from the lineup which included Alchemist, Jerk, Frakenbok, Cog, Daysend, Dark Order, Blood Duster and many others. Although the withdrawal of Superheist was disappointing, the annual event was successful and will be back this year, hopefully with a strong lineup.
Outsider Magazine has also called it quits. There will not be one more issue to come from Outsider Magazine. The subscribers with money still left in their subscription were given a Roadrunner Records compilation which is only available to Outsider Magazine subscribers, no one else. Don't worry the cd is nothing special.
As I Lay Dying
As I Lay Dying is scheduled to make a guest appearance on MTV2's HEADBANGERS BALL this Saturday, Jan 17th. Everyone make sure to tune in and support the guys. They will be talking to the band about their new record, touring, and of course another airing of the new video. If you don't get MTV2, find a friend who does and watch Saturday night.
